This project focuses on the seismic bracing component of the water supply network pressurization upgrade for the Xinhua Xincun residential complex. In accordance with the *Code for Seismic Design of Building Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Systems* (GB50981-2014) and relevant standards for water supply facilities, comprehensive seismic reinforcement is being implemented for the pump room's electromechanical equipment, new and existing water transmission pipelines, and valve control systems.
The project scope primarily encompasses the installation of new booster pump sets, inlet and outlet mains, zoning valves and instrumentation, control cabinet cabling, and seismic connection points for outdoor piping. Through professional seismic analysis and detailed design tailored to the network layout, customized seismic support and bracing systems are provided and installed to standard specifications. These measures ensure the overall stability of the water supply system against external forces such as earthquakes, preventing service interruptions, water damage, and secondary hazards caused by pipe ruptures, equipment displacement, or joint failures, thereby guaranteeing the safety and reliability of both daily and emergency water supplies for residents.
