Comprehensive seismic reinforcement is being implemented for the complex electromechanical systems across various zones of the mall—including retail areas, dining facilities, cinemas, and parking garages—in strict accordance with the *Code for Seismic Design of Building Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Systems* (GB50981-2014) and relevant local standards in Shanghai.
The project scope encompasses fire protection systems, water supply and drainage, HVAC systems, cable trays for power and low-voltage systems, emergency lighting, conduits for advertising signage, and specialized kitchen exhaust ducts. Through professional seismic analysis and detailed design, high-standard seismic products are selected and installed with precision. These measures ensure the stability of all piping and equipment under sudden loads, such as earthquakes, thereby preventing functional failure, secondary disasters, and casualties caused by displacement or detachment. The project safeguards public safety and ensures the continuous operation of this high-traffic commercial venue, ultimately enhancing the complex's overall disaster resilience.
