This project involves the specialized installation of seismic bracing systems for the West Plot (Affordable Housing) of the Longtan New Town Phase II Affordable Housing Project. Comprehensive seismic reinforcement is being implemented for various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) piping and conduit systems within the residential buildings, in strict accordance with mandatory national standards such as the *Code for Seismic Design of Building Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Systems* (GB50981-2014).
The project scope encompasses critical systems including fire sprinkler networks, water supply and drainage, ventilation and smoke exhaust, power and low-voltage systems, as well as emergency lighting and communication conduits for public areas. Through professional seismic analysis and detailed engineering design, compliant and reliable seismic bracing systems are being supplied and installed. These measures ensure the structural stability of piping and equipment during seismic events, effectively preventing system failures, secondary disasters, and safety hazards caused by displacement or detachment. This initiative safeguards the lives and property of residents and enhances the overall seismic resilience and safety standards of this public housing project.
