
This project involves the installation of a seismic bracing system for the secondary water supply pump station at the Yongjiangfu residential complex in Jiujiang District, Wuhu City. It aims to ensure the seismic safety and operational reliability of the water supply system—a vital lifeline for residents. The design strictly adheres to relevant standards, such as the *Code for Seismic Design of Building Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Systems* (GB 50981) and the *Hygienic Specifications for Secondary Water Supply Facilities*. It incorporates a comprehensive seismic support design tailored to critical infrastructure within the pump station, including main pressurized water transmission pipes, pump units, valve assemblies, electrical control cabinets, and connecting pipelines. By utilizing high-load, corrosion-resistant seismic support products and employing precision installation techniques, the project ensures the structural stability, connection integrity, and functional continuity of the water supply system during seismic events. This effectively prevents service interruptions, water contamination, and secondary water-related hazards caused by pipe ruptures, equipment displacement, or joint failures, thereby safeguarding the safety of essential domestic water supplies and public health for residents in the aftermath of an earthquake.
