
This project involves the installation of a seismic bracing system for the secondary water supply infrastructure at the Feicui Tianyuan residential complex in Wuhu City. Its primary objective is to ensure the seismic safety and continuous, stable operation of the residential water supply—a critical lifeline system. The design and construction were executed in strict accordance with the *Code for Seismic Design of Building Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Systems* (GB 50981) and relevant technical standards for secondary water supply facilities. Specialized, systematic seismic support solutions were implemented for the entire facility suite—including main water transmission pipelines, high- and low-zone booster pump units, valves and instrumentation, electrical control systems, and connecting piping—located in underground or indoor pump rooms. By utilizing high-load-capacity, corrosion-resistant seismic supports and hangers, and ensuring precise installation and secure anchoring, the project guarantees the structural integrity, secure connectivity, and functional continuity of the water supply system during seismic events. This effectively prevents service interruptions, pressure instability, water quality contamination, and secondary leakage hazards caused by equipment damage, thereby safeguarding the daily safety and public health of the community's residents.
