Jinan Airport Project

Update:Jan 16,2026

For the electromechanical installation of its terminal, transportation center, and supporting facilities, the Jinan Airport project fully implemented high-standard seismic design and construction requirements. In strict accordance with the *Code for Seismic Design of Building Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Systems* (GB 50981) and relevant industry standards, the project carried out systematic detailed design and specialized installation of seismic supports and hangers for numerous complex and critical electromechanical piping and cabling systems—including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, power and low-voltage systems, air traffic control infrastructure, and baggage handling systems.

By utilizing high-load-capacity, highly reliable seismic support products and employing precision construction techniques, the project effectively restricts the displacement of piping and equipment during seismic events. This approach aims to prevent functional paralysis, fires, or secondary disasters caused by ruptured pipelines or falling equipment, thereby ensuring that core systems maintain basic operational and emergency response capabilities in the aftermath of a disaster. These measures significantly enhance the overall seismic resilience and operational safety of the airport—a vital transportation hub—laying a solid foundation for maintaining the continuity of this aviation lifeline, ensuring passenger safety, and bolstering regional emergency relief capabilities.
