This project involves the specialized seismic support system installation for Phase I of the new campus of the Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In strict accordance with the *Code for Seismic Design of Building Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Systems* (GB50981-2014) and high-standard seismic fortification requirements for medical facilities, comprehensive seismic reinforcement is being implemented for the electromechanical systems in core areas—including outpatient services, medical technology departments, inpatient wards, operating rooms, and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) preparation facilities.
The project scope encompasses life-support systems (such as medical gas and purified air conditioning), specialized medical water supply and drainage (including piping for TCM decoction and sewage treatment), fire protection systems, power and low-voltage systems, medical imaging and laboratory equipment piping, as well as emergency lighting, ventilation, and smoke control systems. Through professional seismic analysis and designs tailored to TCM clinical workflows, the project delivers highly reliable, corrosion-resistant seismic support and suspension systems. Precision installation ensures the stability of all piping and equipment during earthquakes or other sudden disasters, preventing system failure, secondary injuries, or cross-infection risks caused by displacement or detachment. These measures safeguard the continuous operation of integrated TCM and Western medicine services and ensure patient safety, thereby enhancing the overall disaster resilience of this large-scale public medical institution.
