Wuhu Jiangbei New Area Xiwan Jiangjing Water Supply Pipeline and Household Meter Project (Secondary Water Supply)

As critical infrastructure ensuring the domestic water supply for residents, the seismic safety of this project is paramount. In strict accordance with the *Code for Seismic Design of Building Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Systems* (GB 50981-2014), compliant seismic bracing systems were specifically designed and installed for the secondary water supply system. These systems cover key components such as main pipelines within the pump room, connection sections for pressurization equipment, critical valve assemblies, and vertical risers passing through the building structure.


Based on professional engineering calculations, this seismic support system reinforces the piping by accounting for its dynamic characteristics, ensuring a reliable connection between components—such as pipelines and pump units—and the building structure. Its primary function is to effectively restrain the horizontal and vertical displacement of water supply lines and absorb seismic energy during an earthquake. By preventing pipe joint separation and the shifting or overturning of pump equipment, the system averts widespread water supply interruptions and secondary water damage caused by system failure. This directly safeguards the reliability of the "lifeline" emergency water supply following an earthquake and serves as a key technical measure to enhance the comprehensive disaster resilience of the residential complex and ensure the safety of residents' daily lives.
