
This project constitutes the specialized seismic bracing component of the renovation project for the Old Donghu Middle School. In strict accordance with current standards—such as the *Code for Seismic Design of Building Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Systems* (GB50981-2014) and the *Code for Design of Primary and Secondary School Buildings*—comprehensive seismic reinforcement is being implemented for the mechanical and electrical systems of the renovated school buildings, including the classroom, laboratory, and administrative blocks.
The scope of work encompasses the upgraded fire sprinkler systems, water supply and drainage piping, ventilation and smoke control facilities, power and low-voltage cable trays, emergency lighting, public address systems, and specialized laboratory piping. Through professional seismic analysis and detailed design tailored to the existing structural conditions, a safe and reliable seismic support system is being provided. Installation is carried out using protective and coordinated methods to ensure the overall stability of all piping and equipment during seismic events, effectively preventing system failures, secondary hazards, and evacuation obstructions caused by displacement or detachment. These measures safeguard the safety of teachers and students and ensure the stability of educational operations in the renovated facilities, thereby meeting the requirements for enhanced seismic safety in campus buildings.
