Project on Plot XQ-21-003 (Unit SJC10031, Plot 18-08B) in the Xinqiao Town Industrial Zone, Songjiang District

Update:Jan 29,2026

This project involved a professional seismic design for the entire facility's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) piping and conduit systems, strictly adhering to the *Code for Seismic Design of Building Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Systems* (GB 50981-2014) and relevant Shanghai construction standards, while accounting for the specific operational characteristics of the industrial plant. Key systems addressed include fire sprinkler networks, ventilation and smoke exhaust ducts, process water supply and drainage, process piping, electrical cable trays, and emergency lighting systems.

Through rigorous mechanical calculations and load analysis, suitable seismic bracing and support products were selected to ensure the rational layout and reliable anchoring of the piping and conduit systems. In the event of an earthquake, the system effectively absorbs and dissipates energy, significantly limiting the horizontal and vertical displacement of piping and auxiliary equipment. This prevents failures such as pipeline ruptures, duct collapses, cable breakage, and the disconnection of critical equipment. The primary objective is to minimize the threat of secondary seismic hazards—such as leaks, fires, and power outages—to the facility's structure, production equipment, and personnel safety. By ensuring the uninterrupted functionality of lifeline systems, the design safeguards the facility's seismic resilience and enables the rapid recovery of industrial operations.
