This project entails the specialized design of seismic bracing systems for the electromechanical installations of the Phase II hotel at Nanshan Kanghong Ecological Park. The design strictly adheres to current mandatory national standards, including the *Code for Seismic Design of Building Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Systems* (GB50981-2014) and the *Code for Seismic Design of Buildings* (GB50011-2010). It involves comprehensive seismic analysis and calculations for the complex electromechanical piping and ductwork systems within the hotel, covering water supply and drainage, fire sprinkler systems, HVAC, ventilation and smoke control, as well as electrical and intelligent system cable trays. Through precise mechanical verification and integrated routing coordination, suitable seismic bracing products were selected and detailed connection designs were developed. These measures ensure that the electromechanical systems can effectively withstand seismic forces during a design-basis earthquake, preventing secondary hazards—such as water leakage, electrical faults, or the spread of fire—caused by the detachment or rupture of pipelines. Consequently, the design safeguards the lives of guests and staff, maximizes the maintenance of core hotel functions post-earthquake, and enhances the project's overall disaster resilience.
