For the Qixiashan Depot project (Contract Section D.006.X-TA04) of the Nanjing Metro Line 6, a high-standard, modular support system was comprehensively implemented within the utility tunnel. Adhering strictly to relevant design codes and metro industry standards, the project team executed systematic and integrated planning and layout for various utility lines—including power cables, fiber-optic communication cables, water supply and drainage, fire protection, and ventilation systems.
The adoption of structurally robust and logically arranged supports ensured the safe separation, orderly layering, and reliable anchoring of these diverse utility lines, effectively mitigating issues such as mutual interference, displacement due to settlement, and maintenance difficulties. This support system not only optimized internal space utilization and visual aesthetics but also provided long-term, stable physical support and protection for critical infrastructure lines. Consequently, it guarantees the safe and efficient operation of the depot’s core energy, information, and water systems, laying a solid foundation for the long-term, reliable maintenance and operation of the metro depot.
