
This project constitutes the specialized seismic bracing component of Contract Section 3 for the electromechanical equipment installation and equipment area fit-out of the Phase II West Extension of Changsha Rail Transit Line 2. In strict accordance with the *Code for Seismic Design of Building Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Systems* (GB50981-2014) and high-standard seismic fortification requirements for urban rail transit, comprehensive seismic reinforcement is being implemented for the electromechanical systems within the subway stations and tunnel sections of this contract section.
The scope of work encompasses ventilation and smoke control/exhaust systems; water supply, drainage, and fire-fighting piping; power, lighting, and low-voltage cable trays; signaling and control conduits; platform screen door system cabling; emergency evacuation signage systems; and concealed piping within decorative layers. Through professional seismic analysis and detailed design tailored to the complex underground structural environment, a highly reliable and corrosion-resistant seismic support system is provided. High-precision, coordinated installation ensures the stability of all piping and equipment under conditions of train-induced vibration and seismic activity, thereby preventing operational disruptions, equipment failures, secondary hazards, and evacuation risks caused by displacement or detachment, and ensuring the safe, reliable operation and resilience of the subway line and public transport system.
