
This project entails the specialized installation of seismic bracing for the secondary water supply pump room in Zone 1 of the Changjiang Xu residential complex. Professional seismic design and comprehensive reinforcement of the pump room's core water supply facilities are being executed in strict accordance with mandatory national standards, such as the *Code for Seismic Design of Building Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Systems* (GB50981-2014).
The project scope encompasses secondary water supply booster pump units, main water transmission pipelines, valve and instrumentation assemblies, control system cable trays, and connecting piping networks. Through professional seismic structural analysis and detailed design, a customized seismic bracing and support system is being implemented using standardized installation procedures. The objective is to ensure the structural integrity of the entire water supply system under sudden loads—such as earthquakes—and to effectively prevent service interruptions, water damage, and secondary hazards caused by equipment displacement, pipeline ruptures, or connection failures. This ensures the reliability of this critical infrastructure and the safety of the continuous water supply for residents, thereby enhancing the residential project's overall seismic resilience and disaster-prevention capabilities.
