
This project involves the specialized seismic bracing component for the building construction and landscaping works (Contract Section FJLH02) of the Keqiao-Zhuji Expressway. In accordance with the *Code for Seismic Design of Building Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Systems* (GB50981-2014) and relevant standards for highway ancillary facilities, comprehensive seismic reinforcement is being implemented for the mechanical and electrical systems of buildings within this section—including service areas, toll stations, and maintenance depots.
The project scope encompasses fire protection, water supply and drainage, HVAC, power and low-voltage systems, lighting, surveillance and communication conduits, and associated outdoor piping within the various buildings. Through professional seismic analysis and designs tailored to the functional requirements of highway facilities, durable and reliable seismic bracing systems are being provided and installed to standardized specifications. These measures ensure the stability of all piping and equipment during seismic events, preventing system failures, secondary disasters, and operational safety hazards caused by displacement or detachment; this safeguards the normal service functions and emergency response capabilities of the highway's ancillary facilities, thereby enhancing the overall safety and reliability of the transportation infrastructure.
