This project involves the seismic bracing system installation for the Graduate Student Apartment (Building 64) at Fuzhou University’s Qishan Campus, aiming to enhance the seismic safety of electromechanical systems and overall residential safety within the high-rise student dormitory. The design strictly adheres to the *Code for Seismic Design of Building Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Systems* (GB 50981) and relevant standards for civil buildings, incorporating detailed seismic support design and layout for various pipeline systems—including water supply and drainage, fire sprinkler networks, ventilation and smoke exhaust systems, as well as electrical and intelligent building systems. By utilizing compliant, durable seismic support products and implementing standardized installation procedures, the project ensures that these pipeline systems remain securely connected and functionally intact during seismic events. This effectively prevents secondary hazards—such as water leakage, electrical faults, or the obstruction of evacuation routes caused by ruptured pipes, severed lines, or falling equipment—thereby creating a safe, reliable living environment for students and safeguarding lives, property, and essential living functions during emergencies.
